Center for Contemporary Arts

Celebrate the Arts Day of Giving with us! This is the biggest fundraising event of the year!! If you have ever thought about getting involved and supporting new music, this is the day!  On this day only, all donations Citywater receives through the Give Local Now webpage will be MATCHED! You can certainly donate on your own at home, but why not come out and celebrate with your fellow Citywater fans!  Join us at the Center for Contemporary Art for refreshments and music.  Donation stations will be set up so you can make your contribution right there! This is going to be a night you won't want to miss!

Join us for a fun program, featuring Stephen Blumberg's latest work, Looking Froward, Looking Back.  Also on the program is one of the very first pieces ever written for us, Riverpoint, by Davis composer Bill Clark.  It's a free concert because we are gearing up for one of the biggest fundraising events of the year...the Arts Day of Giving! Citywater joins a capella choir RSVP, Reconciliation Singers Voices for Peace, for their concert series "Forgotten Peoples."  Works by Estonian composer Veljo Tormis, American composer Michael Gandolfi, and British composer Will Todd will be featured.  This powerful evening of music will support homes in Sacramento for victims released from human trafficking.

We've got big plans!  Citywater has a CD recording project in the works and this concert is our first big fundraiser!  Admission is by donation and all proceeds will go to fund the project!

Crocker Art Museum
